GPS Surge Suppressors

GPS Surge suppressors are fitted 'in-line' on the coax cable to the GPS antenna. The only other connection is to a low-impedance earth to divert any voltage surge.

TimeTools recommends fitting surge suppressors to any externally mounted GPS antenna to protect equipment against the possibility of lightning strikes.
