TimeTools NTP s5100 is a 1U high rack-mountable dedicated stratum 1 GPS NTP server. The device synchronise's to the Global Positioning System (GPS) time and frequency reference.
The NTP s5100 GPS NTP Server provides a highly accurate time resource for your LAN/WAN. The device can accurately synchronise most computer operating systems and network infrastructure, including; Windows, Novell, UNIX, LINUX and CISCO switches and routers.
TimeTools NTP s5000 series NTP Servers are also available as a Radio NTP Server and a Dual Reference NTP Time Server.
TimeTools can also offer a range of GPS Accessories, including GPS antenna cable, mounts, lightning suppressors and GPS amplifiers.
- Compact: The s5100 has a compact yet rugged 1U high enclosure measuring only 160mm deep. The s5100 occupies a minimum amount of rack space.
- Reliable: With its high quality, rugged aluminium enclosure, the s5100 can easily withstand the riggers of long term use.
- Longevity: The NTP s5100 is a low power device, consuming less than 12 Watts. The s5100 runs very cool, requiring no fans, aiding longevity.
- NTP: The latest version of NTP is utilised which can easily be configured using HTTP (Browser), Telnet or console connections. The integral firmware is also up-gradable using FTP.
- Security: All the s5100 network and console connections are password protected and can optionally be disabled. Additionally, the NTP s5100 fully supports MD5 NTP authentication.

Product Overview
TimeTools NTP s5100 is a 1U high, rack-mountable stratum 1 GPS NTP Server. The device utilises an unmodified version of the latest LINUX NTP distribution.
The s5100 has an integrated GPS receiver that constantly tracks up to 12 satellites simultaneously to provide a highly accurate network time reference. The device has an Ethernet NTP output jitter typically less than 50 microseconds.
The device is low-power, convection cooled, with no moving parts aiding long term reliability. TimeTools confidence in the reliability of the NTP s5100 is reflected in the provision of a 3 year warranty.
An easy to use password-protected menu-driven web interface is provided for system configuration and management. The device also supports FTP to download NTP statistics and upload firmware upgrades.
