TimeTools manufactures and distributes radio NTP server, GPS NTP Server and PC time server systems for accurate computer and network timing. NTP systems can be used to distribute accurate time from an external timing reference around a network. Network time clients can sync time to within a few milliseconds of the correct time. Both MSF, DCF-77 radio and GPS external time references are also available as time server solutions for PC's by utilising a standard RS232 interface.
Please take time to view our comprehensive range of PC time server synchronisation products and ntp time server systems.

TimeTools NTP Server Monitoring Software is a utility that runs on any Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 workstation or server. It allows any number of time server systems to be monitored and can optionally synchronise system time with the optimal reference.
The utility periodically polls the server list at user specified intervals and displays status and statistic information for each reference.
References that have timed out or are unsynchronized are highlighted. Additionally, references that have not synchronised for an extended period of time or have a high stratum can also be highlighted.
Additionally, if required, the utility will synchronise the host computers system time with the optimal time reference.

NTP Server Monitor and Windows Time Synchronisation Service.
TimeTools Monitor and the Windows Time Synchronisation service ('Windows Time') cannot co-exist on the same system, since they both attempt to use UDP port 123 (NTP). You can disable the Windows Time service from the service manager to avoid this problem and rely on the monitor software to synchronise time.

To Do:
10 January 2007 : Add functionality to restrict time updates to within a 15 minute window of the current system time. This could be used as a 'safety net', incase any erroneous NTP servers provide incorrect un-synchronised time information. This could be added as a checkbox to enabled or disable time checks.
