The T2000 GPS Clock Time Server obtains accurate time from the Global Positioning System (GPS) to provide a global solution to computer and computer network time synchronisation.
The T2000 GPS Clock is provided with a fixed-site, jam resistant, roof mounted GPS antenna. The antenna is housed in a completely waterproof packaging designed to withstand exposure to shock, excessive vibration, extreme temperatures, rain, snow and sunlight. The threaded socket in the base of the antenna accepts either a 1"-14" straight thread or a standard 3/4" pipe thread.

Overview
The GPS T2000 precision clock time server obtains accurate timing information from the GPS system. Accurate timing information is passed to a computer via a single RS232 serial port. The T2000 provides an accurate PPS output on the RS232 DCD and DSR control lines providing timing accuracy to 100nsec.
Software Drivers
Software drivers are available for most operating systems including Windows 95/98/Me, NT/2000/XP, Server 2003 and LINUX \ UNIX. Network Time Protocol (NTP) drivers are available for Windows NT/2000/XP and Server 2003 to provide network time synchronisation. LINUX \ UNIX drivers are provided as a NTP reference clock driver for the standard NTP distribution.
World-Wide Operation
The T2000 uses the Global Positioning System to obtain accurate timing information anywhere on the planet. Additionally, TimeTools supplies the T2000 with a universal 12V power-supply that can operate in the UK, US, Europe, Australia and many other countries.
Lightning Suppressors
Optional lightning suppressors are available for the T1000 (product code SPP-GPS). Lightning suppressors are fitted in-line with the GPS antenna to prevent potential damage to any connected computer equipment. TimeTools lightning suppressors are multi-strike, maintenance free units.
