NTP s5000 Series NTP Requests
The NTP s5000 series can handle in excess of 2000 NTP requests per second from network time clients. Most NTP or SNTP time clients generate one time request every 64 seconds or even 1024 seconds on newer NTP releases. Therefore, 2000 requests per second, that can be handled by the NTP s5000 series, should serve in excess of between 128,000 and 2,048,000 network time clients.
