TimeTools provides a number of Time Servers for computer and network time synchronisation. We have solutions based on either MSF, DCF-77 or GPS time sources.
The MSF and DCF-77 radio time servers receive the time code transmissions from either Rugby, UK (MSF) or Frankfurt, Germany (DCF-77). The time code is decoded by software drivers and the system time of the host computer can be synchronised to with a few milliseconds of the correct time.
A GPS clock time server has the advantage of being more accurate and can be used worldwide. The GPS antenna however does require a good view of the sky.
